Machine Learning Engineer - Contract Position in Utena, Lithuania



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Utena, Lithuania. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and models to drive our company's data-driven initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and gather necessary data for model development
- Evaluate the performance of existing machine learning models and continuously improve them
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of machine learning and implement them in our projects
- Communicate findings and insights from data analysis to stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or related role
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Knowledge of data mining techniques and statistical analysis
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Experience working with large datasets using SQL or NoSQL databases
- Understanding of deep learning techniques and neural networks

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: This position is based in Utena, Lithuania. Relocation assistance can be provided if needed.

Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
