Interpreter (Utena, Lithuania)

As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your duties will include accurately interpreting spoken and written communication, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality, and ensuring cultural sensitivity. This role requires excellent language proficiency in both the source and target languages, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken communication accurately and efficiently
- Translate written documents with precision
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions
- Ensure cultural sensitivity in all communications
- Provide support for clients during meetings or appointments
- Keep up-to-date with any changes or developments in the source or target language
- Collaborate with other interpreters or team members when necessary

Requirements:
- Fluency in both the source and target languages (Lithuanian and English)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivities that may arise during interpretation
- Experience working as an interpreter preferred, but not required
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for international travel

Compensation:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month. The schedule will vary depending on client needs, but flexibility is required.

Location:
The position is located in Utena, Lithuania. Candidates must have their own accommodation in the city or be willing to commute.
