Turner for Metal Fabrication Company in Utena, Lithuania


We are seeking an experienced Turner to join our metal fabrication company in Utena, Lithuania. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating lathe machines to shape and form metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Your role will also involve setting up and adjusting machine tools, monitoring machine performance, and performing quality checks on finished products.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner in a metal fabrication environment
- Proficiency in operating lathe machines and reading engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of metal properties and machining techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime if needed

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathe machines to turn, bore, thread, drill or face metal parts according to specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of dimensions
- Adjust machine speeds and feeds as needed for efficient production
- Monitor machine performance and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Perform quality checks on finished products using inspection tools such as gauges and verniers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Comply with all safety standards and procedures
