Equipment Operator

As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Your main duties will include controlling and maneuvering equipment, following safety guidelines, performing routine maintenance, and reporting any issues to management. This role requires someone who is physically fit, has good hand-eye coordination, and can work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to management immediately
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
- Work with other team members to complete tasks efficiently
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Good hand-eye coordination and motor skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong time-management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
