Senior Accountant - Utena, Lithuania


We are in need of a highly experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in identifying any discrepancies or errors in financial data.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting activities, such as journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for senior management
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improving financial efficiency
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Provide support during audits by external parties

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel (knowledge of accounting software is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Lithuanian or Russian is a plus)

Salary:
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $1100 per month. We also provide accommodation for our employees if needed.
