Part-Time Librarian in Utena, Lithuania


We are hiring a part-time librarian to join our library team in Utena, Lithuania. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing library materials, assisting patrons with research and information queries, and promoting library services and resources.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of cataloging systems and library software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Organize library materials according to the library's classification system
- Maintain accurate records of library collections and circulation data
- Assist patrons with locating materials, using computers, and answering reference questions
- Promote library services through outreach events and social media platforms
- Create displays and exhibits to showcase new or relevant materials
- Collaborate with other librarians on collection development decisions

This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of $1000 per month. The working hours will be flexible but may include some evenings or weekends. We offer free visa sponsorship for non-Lithuanian candidates as well as a ticket reimbursement upon completion of the contract.
