Head Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (Utena, Lithuania)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our fine dining restaurant in Utena, Lithuania. As the leader of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu that reflects our restaurant's style and vision. You will also be in charge of managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food handling, preparation, and safety
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor combinations, and plating presentations
- Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members across all levels
- High level of creativity to develop new dishes while also maintaining classic favorites
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends

Salary:
