Mason (Utena)
As a Mason in Utena, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of brick, stone, and other materials. This includes reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, laying bricks or stones, and applying mortar to hold them together. You must have at least 3 years of experience as a Mason and be able to work independently or as part of a team. A biometric passport is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and follow instructions to determine the materials needed for construction
- Measure and cut materials to the appropriate size
- Lay bricks or stones in a systematic pattern using various techniques
- Apply mortar between bricks or stones to secure them in place
- Use tools such as trowels, levels, and hammers to shape and trim materials
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged or cracked bricks or stones
- Clean and maintain tools after use
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mason
- Able to read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately
- Proficient in using masonry tools such as trowels, levels, and hammers
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Biometric passport required
Working Conditions:
As a Mason in Utena, you will primarily work outdoors in various weather conditions. You may also have to work at heights or in confined spaces. The job may involve lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods of time. Safety equipment such as hard hats and safety glasses must be worn at all times.
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month. Additional benefits may be provided based on performance.
