Computer Support Specialist


As a Computer Support Specialist in our dynamic and fast-paced company located in Wiltz, you will provide technical assistance to our clients and colleagues. Your main responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware, software, and network issues. You will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries regarding technical issues through phone, email or in-person communication
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- Install, configure, update and maintain operating systems and applications
- Set up new user accounts and provide training on basic computer functions
- Collaborate with IT team members to identify recurring problems and develop solutions
- Keep track of inventory of computers, software licenses, and other equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as virus scans, backups, updates, etc.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends to provide efficient support to clients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 7/10), hardware components (CPU, memory), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), antivirus software
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP) and troubleshooting tools (ping command)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical information in simple terms
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1000 per month

This is a full-time position that requires you to work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday during regular business hours. We offer competitive salary packages along with opportunities for professional growth.
