Contract Accountant in Lom, Togo


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Lom, Togo. This is an urgent job opportunity with a salary of 1600$. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including journal entries, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for improvement
- Prepare budget forecasts and track expenses against budget
- Assist with tax preparation and filing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Accountant
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends or discrepancies in financial data

Preferred Requirements:
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Experience working in a contract-based role
