Excavator Operator

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Nairobi. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials on construction sites. This is a contract job with a salary of $1200 per month, without accommodation provided. This position is suitable for students looking to gain experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to perform various tasks such as digging trenches, loading trucks, and leveling terrain
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Coordinate with other workers on the construction site to ensure smooth operations
- Keep track of materials used and report any issues or concerns to supervisor

Requirements:
- Previous experience operating an excavator is preferred
- Knowledge of construction techniques and safety regulations
- Ability to read and follow instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
