Junior Librarian

The Junior Librarian will be responsible for assisting with the organization and management of our library in Muscat. This role is perfect for a student looking to gain experience in library science. The ideal candidate should have a passion for books, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining the library's collection by shelving books and materials
- Organize and catalogue new materials as they are added to the collection
- Help patrons locate materials and answer reference questions
- Assist with circulation tasks such as checking books in and out
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement library programs and events

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Passion for books and knowledge of popular literature
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

This is a part-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation is not provided, but the schedule can be flexible to accommodate student schedules.
