Contract Truck Driver

We are in need of a responsible Contract Truck Driver to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials from one location to another. This is a contract position with an urgent need for immediate start.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a truck and transport goods and materials to specified destinations
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect trucks before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including fuel consumption, mileage, and any incidents or delays
- Follow traffic laws and company policies at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures
- Perform basic truck maintenance as needed

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavy loads as needed
- Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems is preferred
