Excavator Operator (Contract) - Nizwa, Oman



We are currently hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on a contract basis in Nizwa, Oman. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of excavators and other heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an excavator operator and possess the necessary skills to effectively operate the equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols at all times while operating the equipment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate job tasks and ensure productivity
- Perform daily inspections on equipment before use
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including materials used and hours worked
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Previous experience as an excavator operator or similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of excavators and their functions
- Ability to read blueprints and understand job requirements
- Familiarity with basic maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions

Salary:

This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Location:

This position is based in Nizwa, Oman.
