Head Pastry Chef
Location: Isa Town, Bahrain


We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at our upscale bakery in Isa Town. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including creating new menu items, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training and supervising staff.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new and innovative pastry items to add to our menu
- Ensure high quality and consistent presentation of all pastries
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise pastry team members, including bakers, decorators, and assistants
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Monitor food costs and work with management to develop cost-saving strategies
- Collaborate with other departments to create cohesive menus for special events or holidays
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation practices in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
- Diploma or degree from a culinary school is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month. Benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
