Radio Technician


A reputable radio station in Khasab is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment related to our broadcasting operations. This is a part-time position, perfect for students or individuals with their own visa.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on all radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, and antennas
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure continuous operation of broadcasting equipment
- Monitor and adjust audio levels to maintain high quality sound output
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement upgrades or new equipment as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while working with electrical equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Familiarity with RF measurement tools such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes
- Knowledge of transmission systems and broadcast automation software is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Must have own visa or student visa in Oman

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
