Entry-Level Instrument Technician


We are seeking an entry-level Instrument Technician to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments used in industrial and manufacturing processes. This is a great opportunity for someone without experience to gain hands-on experience in the field of instrumentation.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on instruments
- Assist in the design and implementation of new instrument systems
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while working with hazardous materials and equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to superiors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in instrumentation is preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, control loops, and process control systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit to handle heavy equipment and able to work in confined spaces or at heights if required
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges
