Merchandiser (Retail) - Hawalli, Kuwait



We are hiring a skilled Merchandiser to join our retail team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner to maximize sales and profitability. You will work closely with the buying and marketing teams to strategize and implement merchandising plans. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in merchandising, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize and implement effective merchandising plans
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to make informed decisions
- Collaborate with the buying team to ensure timely delivery of products
- Create visually appealing product displays that reflect current trends and attract customers
- Monitor inventory levels and make replenishment recommendations
- Communicate with store managers to address any issues or concerns regarding product displays
- Train new employees on proper merchandising techniques
- Participate in promotional events and monitor their success

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and principles
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Must have an eye for detail and aesthetics
