Junior Accountant


Our accounting firm in Muscat is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily financial activities, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited accounting experience to gain valuable skills and experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, invoicing, and account reconciliation
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Support senior accountants with various tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (candidates currently pursuing their degree will also be considered)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong mathematical aptitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Previous internship or work experience in accounting is preferred but not required
