Head Chef
We are a renowned restaurant in Manama and we are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious dishes, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are in line with current food trends and customer preferences
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Create new dishes and update existing menu items based on customer feedback
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and international cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Salary: 1200$ per month
