Android Developer

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create innovative and user-friendly apps that meet the needs of our clients. Your primary focus will be on the development of Android applications, but you may also have the opportunity to work on cross-platform projects. You should have a strong understanding of Android application development, including proficiency in Java and experience with the Android SDK. You should also have experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries. Knowledge of other programming languages such as Kotlin or C++ is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with third-party libraries such as Retrofit or Volley
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Kotlin or C++ is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills

Salary: This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Location: This position is located in Wiltz, Luxembourg. However, remote work may be considered for the right candidate. Please note that this position is open to all nationalities.
