Instrument Technician
Location: Al Buraymi, Oman


We are a reputable company in the oil and gas industry in Oman, looking for a skilled and motivated Instrument Technician to join our team in Al Buraymi. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments used in the production and processing of oil and gas.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection of all instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and make necessary repairs.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings.
- Install new instruments as needed.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve processes and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Follow all safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with various types of instruments used in the industry such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
