Temporary Executive Chef
As a temporary Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our company in Plovdiv. You will be in charge of creating and implementing menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. Your main goal will be to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that align with our company's standards and customer preferences
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation
- Monitor food inventory levels and place orders when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Oversee the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions that feature your cuisine
- Handle customer concerns or complaints related to the kitchen or food quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Creative approach to menu planning
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in training and mentoring staff
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Good understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Degree or certification in culinary arts
- Previous experience in fine dining establishments
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month along with accommodation during your stay. This is a temporary position, but there may be opportunities for permanent employment based on performance.
