Executive Chef
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations at our luxury hotel in Sofia. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1300$. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fine dining and a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage all kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Develop creative menus and ensure consistency in quality and presentation of dishes
- Oversee food purchasing, inventory management, and cost control measures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and introduce new techniques and ingredients to enhance menu offerings
Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. However, candidates must be willing to relocate to Sofia, Bulgaria.
