Information Security Analyst


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team in Washington. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's data and information systems from potential cyber threats. This role requires a strong understanding of information security principles, as well as the ability to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability tests to identify potential security threats
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to protect against cyber attacks
- Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest information security trends and technologies
- Train employees on information security best practices to promote a culture of security awareness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security analysis or related roles
- Solid knowledge of network and system security protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, SSL)
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or QualysGuard
- Strong understanding of industry compliance regulations (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Washington D.C., USA (accommodation provided)
