Part-time Typesetter in Washington, USA


We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Washington, USA. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with typesetting software and a strong eye for design and layout. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment in the future.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to specific publication guidelines
- Ensure proper spacing, margins, and font styles are used
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure consistent quality
- Make necessary adjustments to layouts based on feedback from editors or clients
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates to improve skills and efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Familiarity with printing processes and file formats
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow specific guidelines
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a starting salary of $1200 per month.
