Residential Locksmith - Washington, D.C., USA



We are searching for a skilled Residential Locksmith to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a Residential Locksmith, you will be responsible for providing lock installation, repair, and maintenance services for residential properties. Your main duties will include rekeying locks, duplicating keys, and installing new locks on doors and windows.

To excel in this role, you must have previous experience as a locksmith and possess excellent knowledge of different types of locks and security systems. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. A valid locksmith license is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Install new locks on doors and windows of residential properties
- Repair and replace damaged locks
- Rekey locks for new residents or after security breaches
- Duplicate keys accurately
- Provide emergency lockout services for homeowners
- Recommend and install security systems as needed
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies when necessary

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a locksmith
- Strong knowledge of various types of locks and security systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid locksmith license preferred
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment
- Good communication skills

Benefits:
This is a contract job with the possibility of becoming permanent. The salary for this position is $1100 per week with the potential for bonuses based on performance. Accommodation will also be provided if needed.
