Glazier Technician



As a Glazier Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass in various buildings and structures. This includes cutting, fitting, and installing glass in frames, as well as repairing or replacing damaged glass. You will also be responsible for handling and transporting large sheets of glass, ensuring their safe delivery and installation. Your attention to detail and precision will be essential in this role, as you will need to accurately measure and cut glass to fit specific spaces.

Your day-to-day tasks may include removing old or broken glass, cleaning and preparing surfaces for installation, applying putty or sealant around the edges of the glass, and using specialized tools to secure the glass in place. You may also be required to work on scaffolding or ladders at various heights, so a good head for heights is important.

To excel in this role, you should have strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. You should also have a good understanding of safety procedures and be able to follow them at all times. Physical strength and dexterity are also important qualities as you may need to lift heavy objects and work with your hands for extended periods.

This position requires at least 2 years of experience as a Glazier or similar role. A high school diploma or equivalent is also preferred. Additionally, you must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites within Washington. The salary for this position is $1700 per month without accommodation.
