Architectural Technologist - Washington, USA
The Architectural Technologist will work in collaboration with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop innovative and sustainable building designs. They will be responsible for creating technical drawings, models, and construction documents using the latest software and technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes and regulations as well as experience in project management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop building designs and plans
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to create technical drawings and models
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes and regulations
- Conduct on-site visits to ensure construction is following design plans
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients throughout the design process
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and changes in regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant software programs
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Experience in project management is preferred
