Senior Architect

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our prestigious architecture firm in Washington. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in designing and overseeing large-scale projects from conception to completion. The Senior Architect will be responsible for leading project teams, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring that all designs meet client requirements and adhere to building codes and regulations. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, as they will be interacting with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1300 per week. Candidates must have valid work authorization for the US.

Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural designs for large-scale projects
- Oversee project teams and delegate tasks
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Ensure all designs meet client requirements and adhere to building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise
- Provide expert guidance on technical aspects of projects
- Mentor junior architects and provide feedback on their work
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural design for large-scale projects
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other 3D modeling software
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permit processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead project teams
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred:
- Experience working with government or institutional clients
- LEED certification
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles
