Cashier - Contract Position in Washington, USA



We are currently hiring a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier for a contract position in our store located in Washington. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and card transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases
- Scan items and process payments accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and procedures
- Keep checkout area clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout the day
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

This is a contract position with an hourly rate of $1600. We are seeking a male candidate who is available to work flexible shifts including weekends.
