Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Washington. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu that showcases our restaurant's unique style and flavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative menus that align with our restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and consistency
- Manage inventory levels and food costs to ensure profitability
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with management to establish budget goals and monitor expenses
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Exceptional creativity and knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food cost control methods
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Salary: $1500 per week.
