Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Washington on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating cranes and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift, move, and position materials on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes according to safety regulations and company policies
- Inspect cranes before and after use to ensure they are in good working condition
- Communicate with ground crew and other workers to coordinate crane movements
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with other workers
- Monitor weather conditions that may affect crane operations
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted, hours worked, and any incidents that occur
- Comply with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Crane Operator
- Valid crane operator license or certification
- Knowledge of safe rigging practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed
- Must have a valid driver's license
