Land Surveyor


As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements to determine property boundaries and provide accurate data for construction projects. Your duties will include using specialized equipment and software to collect and analyze data, creating maps and reports, and communicating with clients and other professionals. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to identify property boundaries and topographical features
- Use specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners to collect data
- Analyze survey data using software such as AutoCAD or GIS
- Prepare maps, plans, and reports based on survey results
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals on construction projects
- Ensure accuracy of survey data by performing quality control checks
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in potentially hazardous environments

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software (e.g. AutoCAD, GIS)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods of time
Salary:
Salary for this position is $1500 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Washington D.C., USA. Candidates from other locations are welcome to apply but must have own visa/work permit.
