Junior Back-End Developer
City: Atlanta, USA
We are hiring a Junior Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Atlanta. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your main focus will be collaborating with the front-end development team to ensure the smooth integration of features and functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side code for web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve overall code quality
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and web servers (Apache, Nginx)
- Experience working with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud computing platforms
Salary: This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of $1200 per month. Salary may vary based on experience level.
Location: This is an on-site position located in Atlanta. We are unable to provide accommodation or visa sponsorship at this time.
Note for students: We welcome students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in back-end development. However, please note that this is a full-time position and we cannot accommodate class schedules.
