Typesetter for Publishing Company in Atlanta



We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Typesetter to join our publishing company in Atlanta. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and designs in printed and electronic materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month, and accommodation will be provided if needed. Biometric passport is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Format text, images, and designs according to established guidelines
- Use desktop publishing software to create layouts for print and digital materials
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Proofread materials for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors
- Maintain project timelines and meet tight deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is a plus
- Proficient in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow style guides accurately
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Willingness to learn new software programs as needed
