Facade Specialist


As a Facade Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the exterior of buildings. You will work closely with architects and engineers to create aesthetically pleasing and functional facades that meet safety standards and regulations. Your role will involve conducting site surveys, creating detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and managing the installation process.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys to assess the condition of existing facades and identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design concepts that meet client requirements and adhere to building codes
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for facade elements such as cladding, windows, doors, and decorative features
- Source materials from suppliers and negotiate prices to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Coordinate with contractors during the construction phase to ensure proper installation of facade components
- Monitor the progress of facade construction to ensure it meets quality standards and is completed on schedule
- Conduct regular inspections of completed facades to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in materials technology, and changes in building regulations related to facades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in facade design or construction
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, safety standards, materials technology, and construction processes related to facades
- Proficient in CAD software for creating detailed drawings
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability for conducting site surveys and inspections

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month. Accommodation can be provided if desired.
