Job Title: Turner - Experienced Machinist


We are seeking an experienced Turner (Machinist) to join our team in Atlanta. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Turner, excellent technical skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Read blueprints, sketches or other specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials or workpieces as guides for subsequent machining
- Select the appropriate tools and materials needed for each job
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Turner (Machinist)
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Must have a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Salary: $1500 per month
