Junior Accountant



We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Atlanta. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and supporting the senior accountants in maintaining accurate financial records. This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or individuals with less than 2 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing vendor relationships
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Atlanta. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
