Typesetter

As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for preparing text and images for printing or digital publication. Your main duties will include formatting, arranging, and adjusting text and images to create visually appealing and readable content. You will work closely with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure that the final product meets quality standards and client specifications. This is a contract position in Las Vegas with a salary of $1600 per month.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Knowledge of typography, layout design, and printing processes
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members

Responsibilities:
- Receive text and images from editors or designers and prepare them for printing or digital publication
- Format text according to established style guidelines
- Adjust spacing, margins, font size, and other elements to ensure readability
- Place images within text and adjust size and placement as needed
- Collaborate with editors on any necessary changes or revisions
- Work closely with designers to ensure that all elements of the final product are cohesive
- Check final proofs for errors before printing or publishing digitally
