Heavy Equipment Operator

A heavy equipment operator is responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery used in construction, mining, and other large-scale projects. They must have a strong understanding of how to safely and efficiently operate equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, cranes, and loaders. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to follow instructions closely.

Responsibilities:
-Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
-Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and performing necessary repairs
-Communicate with site supervisors to understand project plans and expectations
-Complete daily logs and reports on machine usage and maintenance
-Ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites
-Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment to different job sites
-Monitor fuel levels and schedule refills as needed

Requirements:
-Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or mining setting
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various types of heavy machinery
-Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
-Ability to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed
-Strong communication skills
-High school diploma or equivalent

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per week for this contract position.

This job is located in Las Vegas, USA. Applicants must have their own visa that allows them to work in the United States.
