Preservation Architect

We are seeking a talented and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to local and national preservation standards. Your expertise in architectural design, historic preservation, and building materials will be essential in ensuring the integrity and authenticity of these structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history, significance, and condition of historic buildings
- Develop preservation plans and proposals that comply with local regulations and guidelines
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for restoration projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee restoration work
- Utilize traditional building techniques and materials to preserve the original character of historic structures
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Prepare reports documenting the process and outcomes of preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or architectural conservation
- Extensive knowledge of local and national preservation standards and guidelines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Las Vegas (open to candidates from any nationality)
