Welder - Contract Position (Las Vegas)


We have a contract position available for a skilled Welder in Las Vegas. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain experience in the field of welding while earning a competitive salary of $1100 per week. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques to join metals and fabricate structures according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick welders
- Perform welding techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding, shielded metal arc welding, and gas metal arc welding
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational or technical program in welding is preferred
- Previous experience in welding is an asset
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
