Surveyor Technician
Location: Las Vegas, USA


As a Surveyor Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the surveyor in their daily tasks and providing support in the field. This role requires a keen attention to detail and strong technical skills in order to accurately measure and record data. You will also be responsible for maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment, as well as ensuring the safety of the team while working on site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the surveyor in conducting land surveys using various tools and technologies.
- Record accurate measurements and data using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy of measurements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate surveying activities.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while working on site.
- Prepare detailed reports and diagrams based on survey data for further analysis.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a surveyor technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in operating GPS systems, total stations, levels, and other surveying equipment.
- Knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, and techniques.
- Strong math and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
