We are in search of an experienced Typesetter to join our publishing team in Los Angeles. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print and digital publications. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month, without accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Use specialized software to format and arrange text and images for various publications such as books, magazines, and newspapers.
- Review and proofread documents to ensure accuracy and proper formatting.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new software to improve efficiency and quality of work.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Typesetter or similar role.
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Good time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- Experience working in publishing or printing industry.
- Knowledge of different font styles, sizes, and layout techniques.
