Junior Software Developer


As a Junior Software Developer in our Las Vegas office, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. This contract position is perfect for those without experience, as it offers on-the-job training and mentorship from our experienced developers. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects and gain valuable skills in coding, testing, and debugging. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, code, test, and debug software applications
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards
- Learn new technologies and programming languages as needed
- Document code changes and update technical documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Passion for learning new technologies

Beneficial Skills:
- Knowledge of web development frameworks such as Angular or React
- Experience with databases (MySQL, Oracle) and SQL queries
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Mobile development experience (iOS or Android)
