Copywriter (Contract Position)

Our company is seeking an experienced copywriter to work on a contract basis in our Los Angeles office. This role is ideal for students or freelancers looking for a flexible work arrangement.

Responsibilities:
- Write creative and engaging content for various marketing materials, including website copy, social media posts, and email campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and objectives
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audience, and competitors to inform writing
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and spelling
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a copywriter or similar role
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices for written content
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
