Part-Time Preservation Architect

We are currently hiring for a Part-Time Preservation Architect in Los Angeles. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures. This includes conducting detailed assessments, creating preservation plans, and overseeing construction projects to ensure compliance with historical preservation standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in historic preservation, architecture, or a related field, as well as strong attention to detail and project management skills. As this is a part-time position, we are looking for someone who is able to work independently and manage their own schedule effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and oversee restoration projects
- Ensure compliance with historical preservation standards and regulations
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals involved in the preservation process
- Maintain accurate records of all projects and activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in historic preservation or related field
- Strong knowledge of historical preservation standards and regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
