Junior Industrial Architect
A junior industrial architect is responsible for assisting in the design and construction of industrial buildings and structures. This role involves working closely with senior architects and engineers to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing industrial spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in industrial architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of architectural plans for industrial projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure designs meet client requirements and building codes
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Research materials and building techniques to determine the most efficient and cost-effective options for each project
- Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Monitor construction progress to ensure plans are being followed accurately
- Make necessary revisions to plans as needed based on feedback from senior architects or clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and other design tools
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience or coursework in industrial architecture
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations specific to industrial projects
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month.
Location:
This position is located in Los Angeles, California.
