Instrument Technician
We are in need of an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Los Angeles. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and repairing various types of instruments used for measuring and controlling processes in industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting, testing, and repairing various types of instruments including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing instrument malfunctions using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Performing routine maintenance on instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Calibrating instruments to meet industry standards and specifications
- Documenting all work performed including repairs, maintenance, and calibration activities
- Communicating with other team members to coordinate work schedules and ensure efficient use of time
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certificate in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician working with various types of industrial instruments
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles and instrumentation systems
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Experience with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, loop calibrators, etc.
- Must have a valid biometric passport or be eligible to obtain one if not a US citizen
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per week for this part-time position.
